Evan Bourne and Jack Swagger start the match. Hooray. Arm drag #1 ( not keeping track or anything ). Dolph Ziggler is eliminated by Evan Bourne after Shooting Star Press (Elimination #1). Yay. Drew McIntyre pinned Bourne with a double arm DDT (Elimination #2). Finley eliminated by Sheamus with big boot (Elimination #3). Morrison hits the Starship Pain on Swagger for Elimination #4. Shelton Benjamin eliminated by The Miz with Skullcrushing Finale (Elimination #5). Matt Hardy is taken out by Drew McIntyre with a double arm DDT (Elimination #6). Sheamus eliminates Morrison with “the Sheamus Edge” (yes, we made a Razor’s Edge reference) for the win (Elimination #7).
Winners: Team Miz (Sheamus, The Miz and Drew McIntyre)
Team Kofi promo with Kofi (duh!), Mark Henry, MVP, R-Truth and Christian. He mentions that he’s not like them he’s on ECW. He’s Canadian. Also, he raps. Hell of a freestyle (we’re lying).
Match #2:
Batista vs. Rey Mysterio - Battle of the Midget Man and His Roided Ex-Friend
Everyone hits their moves. Neat? DAVE (the worst wrestler ever) hits multiple Batista Bombs and the ref calls the match. Dave by “Rey’s a tiny little bitch”.
Team RKO promo. Sowing the seeds of discontent in Legacy.
Match #3
Team RKO (CM Punk, Ted Dibiase, Cody Rhodes, William Regal and Randy Orton)
vs.
Team Kofi (Christian, Mark Henry, MVP, R-Truth, Kofi Kingston)
Mark Henry eliminated quick by Randy Orton with an RKO (Elimination #1). CM Punk takes out R-Truth with a Go to Sleep (Elimination #2). Christian eliminates Dibiase with a sunset flip off the turnbuckle. (Elimination #3). MVP gets the pinfall on William Regal with a Big Boot (Elimination #4). Cody eliminates MVP (Elimination #5). Christian eliminates Cody Rhodes with the Unpretti KILLSWITCH! (Elimination #6). RKO on Christian after CM Punk interference (Elimination #7). Kofi hits a rollup on Punk for the pinfall (Elimination #8). Randy Orton taken out with the Thunder in Paradise for the win (Elimination #9).

Decent 10 minutes or so, end saw Show tap to the Gogoplata.

Went down to McCool against Melina and Mickie and Melina got the pin.
Winners: Melina and Mickie James
Match #6
WWE Title
John Cena (c) vs. Triple H vs. Shawn Michaels
Match started with HBK superkicking HHH out of the ring. Later HHH put HBK through a table. Lots of near falls at the end. HBK hits sweet chin music on HHH, Cena grabs him with the Attitude Adjustment on top of HHH and pins HHH.
Winner: Cena
Miss me much?
The results did what they were supposed to do not everyone can write long reviews. Seems I missed a decent PPV, but least I got the results via my gf’s friend.

Eh, I miss the days of Eric S, and everything pre-twitter. Sometimes I miss the days of Herb Kunze and the wrestling tidbits. CRZ was always good to kill a lot of time with his reviews. Sometimes I also miss when the comments section didn’t seem invaded by trolls who hate/secretly love Reneke.
But yeah there had to be a better way to format this is all I’m saying. Not looking for indepth analysis, the idea of just putting the results in a bullet style format is fine. If that’s all you’re doing, then criticizing particular wrestlers should be left out. Case in point:

I guess all I’m saying is, do these as an update or do a commentary with results, but shoe horning things in like the batista stuff just stinks of a lack of professionalism.
Personally what I look for in live results is semi-detailed happenings for the match, high spots, etc. Commentary I don’t like. Paul Marshall’s stuff I wasn’t a big fan of. Reviews are fine, but keep them separate from the live results. If Paul had his own post-show column that would be fine. But I think a lot of our live reports drive readers away.
